Jonathon Sheley House was born in Syracuse, NY to loving parents. He grew up with two sisters as a middle child and went to Cicero-North Syracuse High School. After a period of silliness, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served for 5 years as an award-winning Combat Correspondent under the MOS 4341, Public Affairs. He achieved the rank of sergeant and held the position of News Director while stationed at American Forces Network, Iwakuni in Japan. After leaving the Marine Corps he moved to Boston and enrolled at Emerson College as a 27-year-old student majoring in Journalism. During this time he started and wrote for a satire website called The Canadian Wall (it has since “run its course”). He will graduate in the Spring 2018 semester.
